What was the last book you read? Would you recommend it?
“The Things we Cannot Say - Kelly Rimmer. I would 1000% recommend it! I love a historical fiction. Plus it gave me book hangover - I was so sad without it!”
What do you like to do in your free time?
“I love to read but I'm a big fan of movment! I love Yoga ( I have my 200 hour certification!) and Running (you can catch me running the NYC Marathon this year!)”
Do you have a party trick/hidden talent?
“I can do a headstand. And my party trick is being the first to disappear....from the Party!”
Provide a brief quote about your experience in this women's networking group so far
This women's networking group has immediately created a safe space for me and already it feels like a forum where we can honestly bring our experiences and feel supported by women in the industry
Provide a brief quote about your experience working in the real estate/construction industry
It isn't an easy industry, but there are some pretty amazing people (especially women) that I've met a long the way. I think the best thing about the industry is that our work is so tangible, and it's rewarding when you get to bring to life something you've spent so much time working on, on paper.
Tell us about a recent, exciting project you worked on or an achievement you're proud of
The current project that I'm working on. A 30,000 sq.f space for The Malin. This has been incredibly challenging and a complex build for a variety of reasons. However, I'm proud of it because not only have I learned a lot, but I finally learned, being the only person in my department how capable I am
4. Share a goal you are working towards (personal or professional) There's a few goals I've been working on, but one consistently on my list and yet to be achieved is to get into a handstand!
Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.
Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
